Founding

Werner Löffler began building office seating furniture in one half of this barn. With an initial capital of 12,000 DM, unyielding determination, high motivation, and a firm belief in his vision of shaping the future of seating furniture, Löffler was born.

 

1998

Löffler GmbH

New Facility in Reichenschwand

The start-up grows and gains recognition in the region. One day, the mayor approaches Werner, saying, "Werner, I have a piece of land for you." The team, composed of four enthusiastic employees, moves into the new facility in Reichenschwand. A dream becomes reality: Löffler gets its own home.

 

2010

Opening of the Löffler Collection

Werner Löffler unveils the source of his inspiration: for nearly 30 years, he has been collecting chairs from around the world. Today, more than 3,600 chairs and seating pieces from three centuries captivate visitors and inspire the Löffler team with new ideas.

 

2019

Löffler GmbH

Acquisition of the Upholstery Workshop in Hersbruck

Production expands and fully relocates to Hersbruck. About 40 new colleagues join the Löffler team. On approximately 2,200 square meters, LÖFFLER chairs are upholstered, sewn, and assembled. 100% Made in Germany, with meticulous attention to detail.
