Katsuhito Nishikawa

Katsuhito Nishikawa, born in 1949 in Tokyo, resides and creates as both a visual artist and furniture designer on the serene island of Hombroich in Neuss, Germany. Following studies in Japan, he pursued his artistic journey with degrees from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and the State Art Academy in Düsseldorf. Currently serving as a guest professor at art institutions in Hamburg, Germany, and Reims, France, he imparts his wisdom to budding talents. His collection features distinctive office chairs and tables renowned for their minimalist allure, emphasizing essential elements and timeless elegance.
