Meet the Lounge Chair WB 6, a creation by designer Werner Blaser for Löffler, inspired by his love for Mies van der Rohe's work. Blaser collaborated with Löffler to reimagine Mies' designs, resulting in timeless pieces of furniture. The lounge chair model embodies simplicity and tranquility in its design.

Crafted from solid European oak, the frame is expertly joined and finished with a matte lacquer. It is meticulously upholstered with sturdy black core leather straps, holding the plush padding in place. Decorative stitching and button tufting add subtle yet captivating details.

The Werner Blaser chair line offers a diverse selection of seating options, comprising six distinct choices. Three of these feature upholstery in premium black core leather and are crafted from European oak with a matte lacquer finish: the WB 4 core leather stool, WB 5 visitor chair, and WB 6 lounge chair. Additionally, three chairs feature nickel-plated polished steel tube frames secured by a distinctive Blaser connector: the WB 7 visitor chair with a solid beech wood seat and backrest, WB 8 upholstered visitor chair, and WB 9 All-in-One upholstered visitor chair.

WB Tables

Within the Werner Blaser table range, there are a total of four distinct tables available in various dimensions and heights. Each table boasts a solid European oak base, accentuating its natural grain and texture, with tabletops fashioned from stained oak veneer on robust MDF. Among them, the WB 1 serves as a square lounge table, the WB 2 as a rectangular lounge table, the WB 3 as a rectangular dining or office table, and the WB 12 as a square office or dining table.

The Werner Blaser line offers two distinctive accessories. The Prism, crafted from seven acrylic glass cubes, adds mesmerizing charm to any space, while the wooden puzzle, comprised of 27 solid oak pieces, celebrates precision and craftsmanship.

Werner Blaser

Werner Blaser was a publicist, architect, and furniture designer, influenced by encounters with Alvar Aalto, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and classical Chinese and Japanese architecture. His publications document architecture, furniture design, and culture with outstanding photographs. His buildings and furniture designs are an expression of recognition and engagement with the work of Mies van der Rohe. The originals of Werner Blaser's chairs and stools are part of the Löffler Collection. From 2011 to 2018, Werner Blaser collaborated with Löffler GmbH, Reichenschwand. In this cooperation, contemporary reinterpretations of Werner Blaser's furniture designs, publications, a documentary film about the work of Mies van der Rohe and Werner Blaser, as well as a traveling exhibition titled "Finding Meaning in the Legacy of Mies van der Rohe – The Work of Werner Blaser – Löffler Edition," were created.
