The Blaues Quadrat rug, crafted under the guidance of acclaimed textile artist Margret Schriefers-Imhof, pays tribute to art luminaries such as Mondrian and Rothko. Drawing inspiration from the potency of color squares or rectangles, the design showcases a lively spectrum and subtle transitions, imparting an organic allure to the space.

Margret Schriefers-Imhof
"No compromises on quality" - this was the principle of the artist born in Wuppertal in 1928, who, since the 1950s, crafted fabrics for renowned manufacturers and delved into technical innovations. Experimenting with new yarns and metal threads on her own looms, she created designs that graced trade journals and prestigious collections. The Kolumba Museum in Cologne also acquired original designs and fabric patterns, enriching its collection.
Fabrics and carpets by Margret Schriefers-Imhof were showcased at exhibitions and trade fairs, including the 2012 "Color Dreams" special exhibit at the International Furniture Fair in Cologne. Just before her passing in October 2014, she contributed a series of carpet designs for Löffler, a legacy we proudly continue.
